Srinagar, Oct 8: The Congress-National Conference alliance has prevailed over its nearest rival Bharatiya Janata Party by winning twenty-two out of total twenty-six seats in the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) polls – the counting for which was held on Sunday.

As per information, the Jammu and National Conference won twelve seats and its ally Congress ten. Bharatiya Janata Party and Independent candidates on the other hand secured win on two seats each.

Notably, the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh is an Autonomous District Council that administers the Leh district of Ladakh.
