The United States of America that claimed that it had persuaded India and Pakistan to go in for “ full and immediate ceasefire” on May 10th , has started treating Kashmir as an underlining Kashmir issue as something that needed to be resolved .President Trump offered his mediation to bring about the solution to the issue, which he claimed , has been hanging for “ thousands of years.” It may be ear-pleasing sound for Pakistan that has been playing up Kashmir at the international level, but India should reject everything that is being suggested through social media posts or loud noises.

It had executed Pahalgam massacre , targeting innocent tourists from various parts of India , with several sinister designs and one among them was to redraw the international attention to the land and the place as a troubled spot . It was a manifestation of its deepening frustration; the Valley had turned its back to Pakistan out of the realization that Islamabad-Rawalpindi was bent upon running them and their future generations .

Kashmir was on path of progress and its prosperity had become a source of envy for several quarters . It angered all those who wanted the valley to steep into major troubles so that the conflict could be perpetuated for long. Their ambitions were cut, as the Kashmiri people had chosen the path of peace and progress . They had embraced tourists as a norm of normalcy, which they had been missing in their lives and environment for over 30 years .

Despite Pahalgam , Kashmir is in a state of unbroken normalcy except for disruption in life in border areas where Pakistani shelling wreaked havoc since May 7 morning after India struck at the terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir , killing more dozens of terrorists. This normalcy cannot be jeopardized just because certain western powers want to grind their axe.

Today’s India is not than of the 1940s, but a global power and the fifth largest economy . It is to become third largest economy in the next few years. It cannot be pushed around . Under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country can handle all its issues on its own . Even in 1940s, India had not accepted the international intervention, and in today’s India it is simply out of question .

India should tell the world quite firmly that it should stay off Kashmir, and any thought of interfering in its affairs is untenable and unacceptable.
