A day after Pakistan army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa pitched for resolution of Kashmir issue and urged India and Pakistan to “ bury the past and move forward,” PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti on Friday urged Delhi and Islamabad to shun hostilities.
In a tweet, she said it was a “ good opportunity
for India & Pakistan to set aside hostilities & find a long lasting solution vis-a-vis Kashmir.”
Both countries , she observed, have huge military budgets to outdo each other when the same resources can instead be used on common challenges like poverty,education & healthcare.
Mehbooba has been a strong votary of Indo- Pak dialogue on Kashmir.
