New Delhi: Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an advisory to all states urging them to stay alert ahead of Hanuman Jayanti and they have been asked to prepare for law and order situation .
This advisory has been issued against the backdrop of the riots in west Bengal and Bihar during and after Ramnavmi processions on March 30.
Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted : “ The MHA has issued an advisory to all states in preparation for Hanuman Jayanti. The governments are encouraged to ensure the maintenance of law and order, peaceful observance of the festival, and monitoring of any factors that could disturb communal harmony in society.”
