Srinagar, September 4:
2nd militant killed in ongoing encounter at Yadipora , Pattan area of Baramulla.
Sources told that militant managed to change location from House to Shed, however got killed in the shed, taking toll to 2.
One army major also got injured after hit by bullet in chin.

Earlier an officer of the rank of Major was injured in the morning when encounter began
Sources said that an encounter raged in the morning in Yiddipora, Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district after joint teams of army, police and CRPF men laid a siege on the basis of a credible information about presence of militants.
Defence spokesman in Srinagar Rajesh Kalia said that a fierce gunfight is on after evacuation of civilians from the areas. “One officer injured during the operation. Joint operation in progress,” he said.
