New Delhi, August 15: The 1992 batch IPS officer Nalin Prabhat has been appointed new Director General of Police J&K, according to an order of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
The MHA order dated August 15 said that Nalin Prabhat will take over as special Director General of Police with immediate effect till September 30 and then succeed current incumbent R R Swain .
Nalin Prabhat is an old Kashmir hand and has handled various assignments in CRPF in crucial times
