230 Nomination forms received at Kulgam
04 Nomination forms got rejected during scrutinisation
KULGAM, NOVEMBER 14: For Phase Ist of DDC, Panchayat by-elections, a total of 230 nomination papers were received in D.H.Pora, Kulgam, Kund, Pombay, Manzgam and D. K. Marg blocks of the district.
Among these, 20 nomination papers were received for upcoming DDC elections of which 01nomination got rejected during scrutiny.
For Sarpanch seats a total of 57 nominations were received and 01 nomination among these got rejected during scrutiny while from a total of 153 Panch nominations received 02 nomination got rejected during scrutiny.

Phase-I Panchayat By-Election: 448 Nomination papers received at B’la

BARAMULLA, NOVEMBER 14: For the Phase Ist of Panchayat by-elections, 448 nomination papers including 53 for vacant Sarpanch seats and 395 for vacant Panch seats were received here at Baramulla.
These nominations papers were received from Kandi, Rafiabad, Tangmarg, Khaipora, Chandilwanigam and Wailoo blocks of the district till the last date of filing of nomination papers.
After scrutiny, 04 nomination papers for vacant Panch seats were rejected thereby leaving 391 nominations valid. However, all the nominations received for Sarpanch seats were found correct and none of the nominations were rejected.
Meanwhile the last date for withdrawal of nominations has been fixed as 16 November 2020.

Phase-Ist of DDC, Panchayat by-election: 186 Nomination papers received in Ganderbal
04 Nomination forms got rejected during scrutinisation
GANDERBAL, NOVEMBER 14: For the Phase Ist of District Development Council (DDC) and Panchayat by-elections, as many as 186 nomination papers comprising 29 Sarpanch and 145 Panch and 12 DDC nominations were received at Ganderbal.
These nominations were received from Gund A and Gund B on the last date of filing of nomination papers.
During scrutiny, 02 Panch forms were rejected by authorities leaving 143 nominations valid. Similarly, 02 Sarpanch forms were also rejected thereby leaving 27 Sarpanch nominations valid.
However, all the nominations received for DDC seats were found correct and none of the nominations were rejected.
Meanwhile, the last date for withdrawal of nominations has been fixed as 16 November 2020.

Phase- I of DDC, ULB and Panchayat By-Elections: 463 nominations received in Anantnag
11 Nomination forms got rejected during scrutinisation
ANANTNAG, NOVEMBER 14: According to District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) Anantnag, 463 Nomination forms were received for upcoming DDC, ULB and Panchayat by-elections in twin Larnoo and Pahalgam blocks of the district.
Out of these 463 nominations, 17 were received for two DDC seats, 41 for ULB seats, 44 for Sarpanch vacancies and 361 for Panch vacancies.
After the scrutiny of nominations,16 DDC, 39 ULB, 353 Panch and all 44 sarpanch nominations were accepted while 1 DDC, 2 ULB and 8 Panch nominations were rejected. Thus out of total 463 nominations, 452 were accepted and 11 were rejected for the first phase.
Meanwhile, the last date for withdrawal of the candidature for the first phase is November 16, 2020, while as polling will be held on November 28, 2020 for this phase.

Phase Ist of DDC, Panchayat by-election: 92 Nomination papers received in Shopian
One Nomination paper for panch seat got rejected during scrutinisation
SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 14: For the Phase Ist of upcoming District Develoment Council (DDC), Panchayat by- election a total of 92 nomination papers were received for vacant Sarpanch and Panch seats in Keller-1 and Keller-2 of the district.
On scrutiny of nomination papers, the authorities found 91 candidatures correct and 01 Nomination Paper for Panch seat got rejected due to non attachment of ST certificate.
The accepted Nomination papers include 14 for DDC, 13 for Sarpanch and 64 for Panch seats.
Meanwhile, the last date of withdrawal is 16th November 2020 while the voting for this phase will be held on November 28, 2020, wherever necessary.
