According to the Defence spokesperson, Pakistani Army started unprovoked firing across LoC in Sunderbani, Naushera and Pallanwala sector from today afternoon.
The spokesman stated that Pakistani troops were firing 82 mm mortars besides other weapons. Indian troops were responding “befittingly” to the Pakistani firing.
Police sources in Poonch JK News Today that one 9 Para Commando soldier Vinay Davrai aged 27 years from Uttrakhand in injured in Pakistani firing at Khadi Khadmal area on LoC in Poonch district.
Earlier Pakistan’s ISPR release stated, the seven soldiers were killed at LOC in Bhimber sector” in cross fire LOC violation by Indian troops late last night. Pakistani troops while responding to Indian unprovoked firing targetted Indian posts effectively”.
