Jammu, October 6: Pakistan government has imposed a ban on the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM), citing threats to national peace and security, Express Tribune reported.
PTM is a leading organisation in Pakistan fighting for the rights of Pashtun people living in the country as they feel marginalised and neglected by Islamabad .
The newspaper reported that the announcement from the Interior Ministry stated that the PTM poses a “significant danger” to public order and safety in the country.
