Pakistan is denying the obvious : its role in the Pahalgam massacre of tourists on April 22, 2025. Now it is clamouring for a “ neutral and transparent probe into the attack” that left 26 dead in the meadow of the world famous tourist resort of Pahalgam. In south Kashmir.
This , in real terms , is a clear deception being structured by Pakistan to shelter its role in the gruesome tragedy in Kashmir , also to internationalize Kashmir . Shaken and shattered by the world community’s support to India against its fight against terrorism, Pakistan has resorted to this ploy with an appeal to the temptation of few countries willing to jump into the mediation role .
The United States, the most powerful country in the world has snubbed this thesis of Pakistan , by repeatedly condemning the Pahalgam terror attack and voicing unequivocal solidarity and support to India . At best, it has suggested that India and Pakistan to figure out the differences and deescalate tensions .
Following the Pahalgam terror attack, the whole of the world has condemned the attack, barring one country and that is Pakistan . It isolated the country that is known as epicenter of terrorism in the comity of nations . There rarely has been a terror attack from the US, to UK, to Spain and even Saudi Arabia where Pakistani fingerprints were not found .
Pahalgam reconfirmed Pakistan’s love for terrorism and the way it relishes bloodshed of innocents at the hands of its terrorists.
After facing worldwide condemnation of the terror attack in the misty meadows in Kashmir , Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif sought “ neutral and transparent probe into the incident.” He made this suggestion while speaking at Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, Islamabad wants to invite indulgence of the international community . It indeed also is taking advantage of its being one of the nine non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council at the moment .
Islamabad’s attempts, of course backed by Rawalpindi, the headquarters of the military headquarters and the real power centre in Pakistan, is trying to deflect the attention from its role in the massacre of tourists in the scenic resorts after having asserted that it had nothing to do with the attack. It charged India with staging a “ false flag operation,” and it circulated everything fake that it could lay its hands on , onto the social media to justify its falsehood.

Second, while deflecting the attention from its role , it has generated another false narrative accusing India of escalating tensions with Pakistan , as it offered no evidence to pin point Pakistan’s role in the attack. That is specious argument, given the history of Pakistan of training and arming terrorists to stage terror attacks in India and several foreign countries.
Baring China , no other country has supported Pakistan’s idea of “ neutral” probe into Pahalgam massacre of April 22 . It is China’s compulsion as it is ironclad friend of Pakistan and it has invested billions of dollars in China- Pakistan Economic Corridor or CPEC. Moreover , it also needs to access to Afghanistan vis Pakistan.
It is knocking many doors but the countries know that India is speaking truth about Pakistan’s deep involvement in Pahalgam terror and so many others that were staged on the Indian soil
