One terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Warsow area of frontier district of Kupwara in north-west Kashmir early this morning
Reports said that the gun fight began when the army engaged a group of terrorists in gun fight. One terrorist was killed, while the gun fight was still on.
Initial reports suggested that the terrorist was a Pakistani.
The army has intensified its anti-militancy operations in the Valley to curb the menace of terrorism.
