Jammu, December 30: The Panchayat poll process will be formally set in motion from January 12 , official sources told J K News Today
The Chief Electoral Officer has been authorized to issue the notification from January 12 and thereafter the first phase of the Panchayat polls be held in the first week of February and it will continue until March-end .
This time polls will be held for 4500 panchayats across the state and more trhan 57 lakh voters will take part in it.
