Bhat said that the trio ran a “highly committed and confidential” over ground worker network of Lashkar outfit.

“The conspiracy was hatched by Arif Dar alias Abu Haibatullah resident off Lelhar Kakapora, an active local militant of LeT and two foreign origin militants identified by their code names Abu Ali and Abu Ismail,” he said.

“The group used the service of Tanveer Bhat and Raqeeb Rather – both residents of Chewakalan Pulwama – for driving the assailants on 21 Nov 2016.”

“Arif Dar of LeT outfit along with the two foreign militants left village Chewakalan along with the above-mentioned group in two vehicles and upon reaching Malpora barged into the bank and looted the cash after keeping the employees at gunpoint.”
