Jammu and Kashmir Government did not allow the top separatist leaders to meet at Syed Ali Shah Geelani’s residence at Hyderpora here on Saturday to prevent them from devising any future strategy to reverse the restoration of normalcy in Kashmir.
“ This was a conscious decision,” an officer told JKNT, underlining the fact that the separatist leadership has been promoting secessionist sentiment and violence by militants.
However All Parties Hurriyat Conference said that Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik were scheduled to meet Syed Ali Geelani Sahab today at Hyderpora.
But Mirwaiz was not allowed to step out of his residence and Yaseen even reaching Hyderpora was sent back from the gate by the police. Hurriyat has”.
