Returning to its core issues of Rohangyas, removal of FIRs lodged during Amarnath Agitation and setting up of Minority Commission, State BJP today presented the political resolution, which included all these issues for its next strategy in Jammu and Kashmir.
During the one-day State Executive Meeting at Suchetgarh, BJP’s state general secretary, Dr Narender Singh has presented the political resolution, which highlighted various issues, which always remained as core issues of BJP, but after forming state government with PDP, the BJP confined to Agenda of Alliance and its points only.
The BJP’s state leaders during their speeches and then in the political resolution, whiletargeting own state government has stressed on the issues of Rohangyas and demanded to set up a commission in the state to work out the deportion of these illegal settlers and also ascertain the facts behind their settlement here in Jammu and who so ever involved in this, should have been booked under law.
The party also supported the demand of Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangharsh Samiti (SAYSS) thatall the pending cases and FIRs registered against people during Amarnath agitation should be taken back unconditionally. Similarly, BJP also demanded that state has to be constitute the Minority Commission as soon as possible.
BJP leaders also reacted on the comment of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti inviting Kashmiri Pandits to visit Kashmir, the coalition partners said, “Kashmiri Pandits should return under proper security cover and under cordial atmosphere and state government has to provide them the same.”
The BJP leadership also pulled the party ministers to put pressure on the alliance partner to properly implement all the points of Agenda of Alliance (AoA) on which the coalition government formed in J&K. It included various points, which are yet to be address.
The Meeting was chaired by BJP National Vice-President and Prabhari J&K state Avinash Rai Khanna, State President and MLA Sat Sharma, Union MoS in PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh, Dy. CM Dr. Nirmal Singh, MP Lok Sabha Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas, MLC Ashok Khajuria and Minister Sham Choudhary.
State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, Speaker Kavinder Gupta, Ministers Bali Bhagat, Chander Prakash Ganga, Ab. Ghani Kohli, Tsering Dorjey, Priya Sethi, Ajay Nanda along with BJP MLAs, MLCs, Chairpersons, Vice-Chairpersons, all state office bearers, Morcha State Presidents, District Presidents, State Working Committee Members and senior leaders attended the meeting.
