Jammu, May 5:
Divisional Commissioner , Jammu, Raghav Langer has ordered that all routine surgeries in all hospitals across Jammu region be deferred in view of the need of the mobilization of resources to fight the surge in Covid-19 cases.
This order was issued by the Divisional Commissioner on Wednesday morning . This, he stated, has been taken in view of the increasing number of cases and the need to have better medical resources to cope with the situation.
Jammu region has been registering rise in the cases for the past few weeks. Its death toll is particularly worrying .
