Jammu, August 13:

Taking serious notice of the J&K Government’s decision on abolishing Self Help Groups (SHGs) of Engineers and their quota of job works, Team Jammu chief Zorawar Singh Jammu has urged the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to order immediate withdrawal of the controversial decision.

Addressing an emergency meeting of the Team Jammu activists, here today to discuss the fall out of this highly objectionable decision of the Government, Mr Zorawar Singh also warned a vigorous mass agitation against anti-people policies of  the present establishment.

“It seems that there are some hidden hands in the present establishment that are hell bent to force the peace loving youth  to raise  banner of protest for triggering a turmoil here to suit their vicious political motives,” pointed Chairman, Team Jammu Zorawar  Singh Jamwal and further added that “Its not just about the fate of over 15000 Engineers but also thousands of other souls who are family members of this aggrieved lot that has been shown doors without any reason.

“People especially the educated unemployed youth would have appreciated the government, had it formulated a better policy to adopt engineers under some new scheme. There hundreds of Engineers, who got registered with the government way back in 2004 and after a long gap of almost 16 years, they are over age and can’t even apply for any government job. What is their fault? What wrong they did for which they are being severely punished?” questioned Zorawar Singh Jamwal.

Making an appeal to newly appointed Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha and intervene in to the matter and immediate direct the concerned officials to withdraw such an anti-youth order, Zorawar Singh said “Lt Governor Manoj Sinha had yesterday assured the people of J&K for equitable development and that too without any disparity. And that is what Prime Minister Narinder Modi has also committed for.”
