Jammu, December 22:
Tiger Division in collaboration with Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Science and Technology Jammu organised course on “Scientific Intervention to Improve the productivity of Dairy Animals” at Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry department of RS Pura Campus. The course was conducted between 24 Nov to 22 Dec 2020. 15 participants from border areas of Jammu and Ex-Serviceman participated in the course.
Dr. MS Bhadwal, Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry motivated the youth for further taking up learning into practicality. He offered all kinds of support for opening of Dairy farm units and monitoring it. He emphasized that the requirement of milk in UT of Jammu is huge and farmers can benefit by filling the gap of demand and supply.
Col Mohammed Ali addressed Students and motivated them to establish their Independent Dairy Farm units. He also motivated youth to participate in such courses in future.
The valedictory function culminated by handing over the certificate of participation and a manual covering the full course content on the subject.
