‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ as observed at Salal Power Station from 27.10.2020 to 02.11.2020 concluded on 02.11.2020 at Conference Hall, Administrative Building. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. L. Bedajit Singh, General Manager(Medical Sevices) by lighting the holy lamp in association with Sh. Jitendra Kumar, General Manager(Electrical), Smt Rita Kumari , W/o Sh Jitendra Kumar and Smt Seraphina Lakra, DGM(HR) & Sh. Kamlesh Kumar, Project Vigilance Officer. A large number of NHPC employees, Senior Officers, children were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. L. Bedajit Singh said that corruption is a major challenge to the growth of nation and society in the right perspective. The tool for curbing the menace is Preventive Vigilance which includes simplification of procedures and total transparency in administration. He also took the opportunity to advise the employees to work hard with dedication and honesty for achieving the targets set for the Power Station.
The program concluded with felicitation of winners of various competitions like Essay Writing Competition, Poem Recitation and Debate competitions organised among employees , Ladies and children from NHPC Family during observance of Vigilance Awareness Week.
Stage proceedings were well handled by Dr. Dheeraj Sharma, Sr. DCMO & Sh. Kuldeep Sharma, AM (Rajbhasha) and Vote of Thanks was presented by Sh. Kamlesh Kumar, Project Vigilance Officer.
