The Jammu and Kashmir Budget for the year 2017-18 has been postponed by a day which will now be presented now on 11th January instead of 10th January .
Earlier the discussion on Governor’s address was to take place on 03rd and 09th January but due to discussion on Kashmir unrest in Legislative Assembly on 03rd January, the rescheduling had to be done.
According to Secretary Legislative Assembly, Mohammad Ramzan, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti will reply to discussion on unrest on 09th January (Monday) immediately after the Question Hour.
After Chief Minister’s Reply, the house will start discussion on Motion of Thanks to Governor’s address on 09th January which will conclude on 10th January.
The Budget will now be presented by Finance Minister, Haseeb Drabu on 11th January.
