JAMMU, December 22: Christmas Fiesta 2017, a gala event celebrating the spirit of Christmas, was organised in the premises of Cynosure International Prep School, Gandhi Nagar, here on Friday.

The little children of the Pre-school presented the nativity scene with painted clay images of baby Jesus. Santa too made a grand entry in the school auditorium packed with the children. The delight was uncontained especially as he brought out the gifts!

The Tonga ride for children was the special attraction of the celebration. Children sang Christmas carols and performed an enthralling dance adding to the festive atmosphere.

Children were emphasized the importance of caring, sharing and goodness all around.

“The precious gifts of hope, peace, joy and love were the gifts, God handed us with the birth of Jesus Christ? In turn, we must do similar for those less beholden than ourselves,” the school management said.

“We must develop a positive outlook in our life as positive thinking and good efforts will lead to success and the key to success is self-confidence but we must work hard for it,”

The school principal expressed delight on seeing such enthusiasm in the children who brought the spirit of Christmas to life and also wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

At the end, a staff member attired as Santa Claus attracted the attention of the students and distributed candies and gifts among them. The children also cut a Christmas cake.
