Jammu, March 16 ( JKNT) In sequel to the decision taken on March 11 all-party meeting in Jammu , a delegation of the opposition parties led by former chief Minister Farooq Abdullah is scheduled to meet Election Commission of India on Thursday afternoon , with plea and questions, why Assembly elections were not being held in J&K.
Prior to meeting the ECI, the J&K leaders drawn from National Conference, PDP, Awami National Conference , Panthers Party and CPI-M and others will meet and convince the ( non-BJP) national leaders about the genuineness of their demand and why the nation should support them in the overall interest of democratic India . “ How can democracy in India can be complete without Assembly elections in J&K” the memorandum of the J&K parties says
. This meeting will be held at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi.
It will also be pleaded before the Election Commission of India that if G-20 meeting can be held in Srinagar , then why no elections.

The 13-member delegation led by Dr Farooq Abdullah includes, MP NC Hassnain Masoodi, Ratan Lal Gupta (NC) , Ravinder Sharma (Congress) , Harashdev Singh (Panthers Party) , Muzafar Shah (ANC) , Amrik Singh Reem (PDP), Master Hari Singh (CPIM), Gulchain Singh (Dogra Saba) , Manesh Sanaini (Shiva Sena) , Taranjit Singh Tony (AAP), and Khajuria.
