In kind of its first initiative, ASSOCHAM in partnership with UT Administration, Chandigarh concluded its five days Chandikrit Industrial Excellence Awards & Expo of Chandigarh on Tuesday, 30 March.

The main aim of this virtual expo was to empower, associate and accolade the efforts and virtuosity of Industry in Chandigarh. Participating companies comprised different portfolios ranging from IT, Manufacturing, Services, PSUs and many more.

An awards session was also held as part of the event to honour stalwarts of the industry of Chandigarh. The initiative received an overwhelming response from the industry and stake holders with healthy participation.

The five-day event had a slew of eminent personalities and experts from the government and industry. Pratap Chandra Sarangi, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of MSME, other govt officials Yashpal Garg, IAS, Secretary, Industries, Chandigarh Administration, &  Jagjit Singh, Director, Industries, Chandigarh Administration and prominent panellists included  Vivek Atray, Former Director – Industries, Haryana, Author & Motivational Speaker, Raju Kapoor, Managing Director, Frontier Agrotech Pvt Ltd,  Sarvjeet Singh Virk, Managing Director, Finvasia India Pvt Ltd and Mukul Bansal, Chairman, Emm Bee Group engaged in panel discussions and talks on pertinent topics.

Kulwin Seehra, Chairman, ASSOCHAM Regional Committee on MSME shared that “We had a very fruitful session at Chandikrit. I thank the Government of India for their continued support and encouragement. A special encouragement was there for solar energy, industry 4.0 and start-ups. I congratulate the award winners for their hard work and determination for setting a great example for the entrepreneurs and future leaders”.
