After getting clear signals, fresh batches of Shri Amarnath and Budha Amarnath pilgrims today left from Bhagwati Nagar base camp here for their respective destinations in Kashmir and Poonch.

The authorities informed that batch of 34 pilgrims comprising 29 men and five women left in two vehicles from the Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu for Pahalgam and Baltal in Kashmir this morning.

Another batch of 991 pilgrims of Budhha Amarnath consisting 704 men, 231 women and 56 children also left in 41 vehicles from the base camp for their onward journey in Poonch district, they said.

Earlier, over a dozen people including few Budha Amarnath yatries injured in a blast at Poonch on Saturday evening. Both the pilgrimages would conclude on August 18 on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
