A division bench of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Mondaydirected the state government to  submit a report on burning of schools and the perpetrators of this crime  by November 7.

The High Court took a serious note of the burning of the schools in Kashmir , and demanded from the government why  such atrocities are being committed against the educational institutions .

More than 30 schools have been torched during this  nearly four-month long unrest in Kashmir which has crippled economy, violently interrupted the educational system, and caused huge loss of life and limbs.

The bench comprising Justice Ali Mohammad Magray  and  Justice Mohd. Yaqoob Mir  asked the government to  come out with the report by next Monday. It said that it is the responsibility of the government to  protect and open schools.

The bench said that there were some mysterious enemies of education at work
