Samba, November 13

Jammu and Kashmir Against Corruption organized a marathon at Samba which starts from Army Helipad Samba and concludes at Government Polytechnic College.

Marathon is organized by team JK Against Corruption unit to pay tributes to martyrs.  All the participants lightened candle to pay tributes to martyrs  of armed forces to honour their sacrifice. The marathon was organized in collaboration with J&K Police (JKP) Samba, youths of Samba and students of College, Higher Secondary School, Middle school along with civil society.

Function hosted by SSP Samba Joginder Singh  Sambyal, Shah Mohammad Tantray, MLA Poonch and  Vikram Singh Bhadwal, chairman J&K Against Corruption.

A total of 1200 students participated in the marathon along with policemen in different categories and policemen.The participants who secured first, second and third positions in under 14 & 17 are Ravi Sharma, Rahul Kumar and Rahul Singh.

The participants who secured first, second and third positions in under 19 are Roshan Lal, Avhay Singh and Antish Rasgotra. The participants who secured first, second and third positions in girls category are Vishali Sharma, Samriti Rajput and Shivani Devi.

Participants who secured first, second and third positions in Policemen are Rohit Kumar, Parveen Kumar and Sushil Choudhary.

SSP Samba Joginder Singh appreciated girls who took part in the Marathon at the end he congratulated Team JK Against for organizing this Marathon especially in Samba with a Motive to Pat Tributes to Our Martyrs.

MLA Samba Shah Mohamamd Tantray congratulated all the winners and appreciated all the students, youths, girls and policemen who take part in this Marathon.
