Jammu, June 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with his Candian counterpart Mark Carney on the sidelines of G7 summit in Alberta , Canada,. The two leaders , according to MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, will exchaneg views on bialteral and global issues..

Canadian Prime Minister had invited Modi on June 6 to attend G7 meeting June 15-17 . Modi accepted the invitation. This was also an occasion , the MEA spokesperson said, “ to talk about India or reflect on India-Candian relations.”

He said that , “ India and Canada are vibrant democracies which are bound by shared democratic values and a steadfast commitment to the rule of law. And of coursn, very vibrant people to people ties. We believe that the forthcoming meeting between the two leaders on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Kanansskisin Canada will offer an important opportunity for them to exchange views on bilateral and global issues and explore pathways to set or rest the relationship based on mutual respect , shared interests, and sensitivity to each other’s concerns”
