Jammu, August 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has welcomed creation of five more districts in Ladakh region , announced by the ministry of Home affairs under the leadership of Home Minister Amit Shah.
Reflecting on Amit Shah’s post on X, disclosing that five new districts- Sham, Drass, Changthang, Zanskar , Nubra, PM said it is a step towards better governance.
His post on social media platform X read :”
Creation of five new districts in Ladakh is a step towards better governance and prosperity. Zanskar, Drass, Sham, Nubra, and Changthang will now receive more focused attention, bringing services and opportunities even closer to the people. Congratulations to the people there.”
