Pratham pooja of Shri Amarnath ji was performed today at holy cave on the auspicious day of Jayeshth purnima organised by Shri Amarnath ji Shrine Board.Vishav Hindu Parishad and Baba Amarnath & Buda Amarnath Yatri Niyas also participated in the pooja on the invitation of SASB. Nitishwar Kumar IAS Chief Executive Officer/ Principal Secretary to Hon’ble L.G , Anup Kumar Soni IFS Additional Chief Executive Officer along with Dr. Surinder Jain National Jt. General Secretary VHP, Rajesh Gupta Working President VHP J&K, Karan Singh Charak Sr.Vice President, Shakti Dutt Sharma Vice President and Sudershan Khajuria General Secretary Niyas performed pooja and hawan amid chanting of vedic mantras by religious scholars. All present pray to Bhole Baba to save humanity world wide from the clutches of Carona Virus
SASB has cancelled the Yatra 2021 due to COVID-19 pandemic but decides to perform all religious rituals as per past practice. Todays Pratham pooja is the first religious ritual performed on Jayeshth purnima for this years yatra.
Others present in the pooja were DC Ganderbal Madam Kritika, Dy. CEOs Vikas Anand and Sushil Kesar along with Army, Police and civil administration officials.
