State units of Shiv Sena (Thackrey) and Bajrang Dal today protested against Pakistan for its intervention in Indian affairs and fresh ceasefire violation at LoC.
Shiv Sena activists burnt Pakistani flag at Maheshpura Chowk and also raised anti-Pak slogans. Shiv Sainiks criticized Pakistan for its activities and termed today Pak’s Independence Day as black day.
Meanwhile, Bajrang Dal activists organised protests at Kachi Chawni Chowk and Satwari Chowk areas of the city against the Saturday evening’s blast at Poonch town, in which over a dozen persons injured and also demanded immediate inquiry of this incident.
Bajrang Dal activists said that this plan was part of a plan to disturb ongoing Budha Amarnath yatra at Poonch. They also raised anti-Pak slogans.
