Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted his Pakistani counterpart Imran Khan on Pakistan Day and wishes him well in dealing with the Covid – 19 pandemic.
In a letter written on Tuesday to Imran Khan coinciding with Pakistan Day , which Pakistan celebrates on March 23 every year, Modi has pressed for a very conducive atmosphere to carry on good relations with the neighbouring country.
“ As a neighbouring country, India desires cordial relations with people of Pakistan. For this an environment of trust, devoid of terror and hostility is imperative,” the PM’s letter to Khan, read.
